Oct 21 1996:“Mississippi has got water volume that’s 24 times that of Colorado.” While dad was reading it loud from the atlas & I was grieving about the fact, that India vs Australia Titan cup day/night semifinal encounter had fallen, just before the social studies exam. I asked dad with ostensible curiosity, “ If Mississippi has water that’s 24 times that of Colorado, then why Mississippi did not create the canyon?”  More than interested in knowing why Mississippi didn’t create canyon, I was interested in letting the dad know that I am listening to him but won’t give semifinal match a miss, for  whatsoever  reason in the evening.
